iOS generates name initials in Chinese by using the first character in ones family name. While this works for most typical person names, sometimes it might create some funny results.
The first character of spam calls (骚扰电话, lit. disrupting/harrasing calls) alone means flirty in Chinese. When iOS generated the initial profile picture for a spam call, users would see a big “flirty” front and center into their face.
